Ouran High School Host Club Live Action
Live-action romantic comedy wins approval.
It was announced that next Tuesday's LaLa magazine Kakusensha confirm the production of a live-action movie based on Japanese manga Ouran High School Host Club of Bisco Hatori. The romantic comedy is scheduled to begin in July.
It was announced that the cast will consist of Yusuku Yamamoto(Kamen Rider Kabuto) and Haruna Kawaguchi (Moshidora).
The manga was released in August 2003 ending to be published in September last year. The manga was first among the top sellers in Japan and managed to lead the ranking of best seller in the New York Times.
In April 2006 they released an anime based on the series with 26 episodes, available from Funimation.
In Brazil, the series is published by Panini, while the country is being published by Viz Media will publish this month the penultimate volume.
The romantic comedy shows Haruhi, a poor girl who wins the only scholarship offered annually by the college Ouran High School students for college absurdly rich.
