The Deadline reported that the owner Megan Ellison of Annapurna Productions won the auction for the rights of two films in the Terminator series. Where Justin Lin (The Fast 5) will direct and Arnold Schwarzenegger returning to the franchise.

According to information from the site, Ellison was able to get it right after a second, covering dramatic bid to Lions Gate. No one knows the value, but the value should guarantee at least half the amount paid by Pacificor to withdraw the franchise from bankruptcy, which was approximately US$ 29.5 million.
