Kore Wa Zombie and Fullmetal
FUNimation acquires rights.

FUNimation has acquired the rights to view the movie Fullmetal Alchemist: Milos no Sei-Naru Hoshi and anime Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka in its central painel of anime on Saturday.

Fullmetal hit theaters in July and will be assistant director Kazuya Murata (Code Geass) and Yuichi Shinbo (Whiteout). Kenichi Konishi (Tokyo Godfathers) is the character designer.

The film shows a non-linear story the franchise Brotherhood. The official website reported on last Friday, the first trailer showing scenes from the movie, since the former were very short.

Already Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka debuted in Japan in January. The series shows Ayumu Aikawa, a boy who is killed by an assassin shortly after meeting a necromancer, but it ends up being raised by her. There after, the necromancer comes to live with him, but in spite of living together they have not spoken. Only communicate via tickets.

Things get worse when Ayumu ends up saving Haruna, a see mingly harmless girl who uses a chainsaw and goes to live with it. Other girls appear in the series as a girl swordsman who lives repeating the name of a fighting technique.

Kore Wa was adapted from a light novel by Shinichi Kimura and illustrated by Kobuichi and Muririn.
