Theme Evangelion wins in Japan
Evangelion music and other animes are remembered on the prize JASRAC.
The JASRAC is the Japan Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers. In the last event held by its organizers, the music Zankoku na Tenshi no Teeze (Thesis of a Cruel Angel) opening of Neon Genesis Evangelion received the prize.
The song won the award after remaining between songs sold online more and more to be played on machines and karaoke during the year 2010, 15 years after being created by Hidetoshi Sato, Neko Oikawa and Yoko Takahashi.
Another award given by JASRAC was the music that has raised more money abroad. The Top 10 was formed by nine of them coming in anime music, check out the list below.
• 1st place - Composer Kenichi Kamio for the theme song for Barbapapa
• 2nd place - Shunsuke Kikuchi Composer for the background music for the Dragon Ball Z
• 3rd place - Composer Fumio Sebato for background music for Kamen Rider Ryuki
• 4th - Composer Kuniaki Haishima for the background music for the Monster
• 5th - Composer Shinji Miyazaki for the background music for Pokémon
• 6th place - Composer Toshio Masuda for the background music from Naruto
• 7th - Composer Shigeto Mori for the background music for Anne of Green Gables
• 8th - Composer Shunsuke Kikuchi for the background music for Doraemon
• 9th - Composer Taku Iwasaki for background music for Oban Star-Racers
• 10th - composer Seiji Yokoyama for the background music forSaint Seiya
