E3 2011: Summary
Last day of the event.
Another day and more production of trailers and demos. Andrew Reiner from Game Informer took the last day to interview some professionals in the world of gaming and promotion of beliefs about the revelations that appeared at E3.
According to Andrew, this year will again be the year of sequels, as companies prefer to risk in securities that are already successful than a new franchise that may not get the investment.
The sequences presented were The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Battlefield 3, Dead Rising 2: Off the Record, Serious Sam 3: BFE, Torchlight II, Saints Row: The Third, Ratched & Clank: All 4 One, Ninja Gaiden 3 and Luigi's Mansion 2.
Although not a direct continuation, remakes of well-known franchises also appeared at the event, among these remakes are the new Kirby game, Space Marine and God of War that will have a new game soon.
Other reliefs known also presented new games such as Spider Man franchise, which made the game Spider Man: Edge of Time. Among the other games are presented Ryse, NeverDead, Awesomenauts, Dead Island, Hitman: Absolution, FIFA 2012,Final Fantasy XIII-2, X-Com, Need For Speed:The Run and Star Trek.
Although there are new games like Asura's Wrath, the Wii U, Nintendo's new console was the greatest revelation of the event. Some professionals in the world of video games said they believe the company chose this name for his new project because of the success the Nintendo Wii, which while not as powerful as its competitors (Xbox 360, PS3) was able to drive sales. Something similar done with the platforms NES, SNES and Nintendo 64.
With the end of the event remains to await the release of the games featured on it, sites like Game Informer, Game Spot, Industry Gamers AND magazines were at the event and publish more about the event that ended today.
