The stores will open May 25 at a different time of day too. Reports suggest that the stores will open at midnight for the sale of the book The Surprise of Haruhi Suzumiya.
Limited Edition, only 513 000 copies of the two volumes were produced. The idea is to sell everyone on the same day of release.
But other Japanese stores, mainly to Akihabara, which is located in Tokyo Otaku shopping district just opened earlier that day. What is one reason that may prevent the official launch was done at midnight.
Some stores will take advantage to display reproductions of artworks in the days preceding the launch of the new book. Reproductions and serve as the countdown will be displayed between May 15 and May 25.
