Angelina Jolie is set to premiere
Actress is preparing to debut as director.
Angelina Jolie will debut in the direction of a film entitled In the Land of Blood and Honey on December 23, exactly in the middle of Oscar season.
The romantic plot will unfold during a war in Bosnia, a conflict that also involved Serbia and Croatia over the years from 1992 to 1995. In the film, a Serbian fall in love with a Muslim daughter of a Croatian.
In the cast are Goran Kostic, Zana Majonovic and the veteran Rade Serbedzija of the TV series 24 Hours. The FilmDistrict bought the movie rights this week during the Cannes Film Festival.
