Barry is confirmed in RE

It is being produced for the Nintendo 3DS a new game franchise Resident Evil. Up to now been confirmed in the game Chris and Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, Albert Wesker, Rebecca Chambers,Krauser and now the long awaited and forgotten Barry Burton.

Barry Burton first appeared in 1996 in the Resident Evil game and became known for his memorable phrases found in Resident Evil. Over the years, and even the remakes of the series, he was dropped and its share has lost importance.

Barry is the best friend of Chris, but Wesker was forced to betray his team not to have his family killed by the same. Due to ties with his companions, he gives up and ends up helping Chris and Jill in the mansion.

Besides the appearance in RE, Barry appears in one of the end of RE3: Nemesis and Resident Evil Garden. Unlike Chris, Jill and Rebecca that even Resident Evil Zero became a protagonist, Barry did not appear in the remaining games of the series and ended up in oblivion.

The game for Nintendo 3DS be called Resident Evil: The 3D Mercenaries and will be released on June 28.
